i am just curious if its normal or not, i’ve started teaching a language online and my first experience i don’t know, i don’t feel satisfied with my teaching skills and i feel that the students didn’t get the lesson or maybe im bad at explaining things, even though i’ve asked them many times if they didn’t understand anything they can ask me but still feel so bad

As a teacher, this is completly normal. With more experience you'll have a better idea where there are common misconceptions and how to plan that into a lesson. Regarding "if they understand", plan exercises so you can see if they make a mistake, therefore you will see if they understand or not, what kind of mistake they made and if you need to explain anything again or give more clarity. From experience if you ask students do you understand? any questions etc they will not respond. Also it's hard to measure progress in one lesson, relax and keep going.
I don’t know what language you’re teaching, but judging from the little effort you put into your writing, you don’t come across as a very organized person. Students of anything need structure, discipline, and clarity — none of which I see in your post.
