Hello everybody
It´s been years since I went to school to learn a new language. I was 17 years old when my first grade teacher told me I have a horrible pronunciation. I have always thought that frase stucks on me for ever, because after year reading books and watching TV in English I am no still good enough.
A couple months ago I took an exam, Cambridge One. My level was B2 in speaking and reading, but for god´s sake, my writing was level B1. I was very disappointed 😞 but then I realised that just need more practice. I have two masters degree in my native language, I can not pretend to write in English in the same way. I have not been living in any English speaking country for example, that means a lot when it comes to mastering a second language. I found this website really useful, hope to share more with you guys soon. Thanks for reading!
I can relate to this a lot!! Learning another language is a long process and there are many stages! My advice would be to try and enjoy the learning process and try not to get discouraged! It is very easy to focus on where we want to be rather than enjoying the journey there. You're doing well and on a good path. The rest is just consistency and time. <3
Good point. It is a lifelong journey.
Thanks @VengefulTurtle and @T-Newfields for your time reading and making notes. Thanks also for point out on the most important thing, enjoy the journey. Thats apply for everything process in life. Best for you both!
