My Favorite Ways to Use English

I enjoy using English for various activities. One of my favorite ways to use it is taking porcelain painting lessons. I used to take many of these lessons in English. I sometimes teach porcelain painting in English as well. This causes more frustration because I sometimes have no idea how to explain in English.

Recently, I've developed a passion for knitting in English. Compared to Japanese knitting books, English knitting books usually have no patterns. Without patterns, they describe how to knit step by step. That means we have to read English. However, reading knitting books are quite different from reading regular books. There are lots of acronyms, and I feel like I am solving puzzles. I found it's incredibly enjoyable.

My goal of knitting in English is I would love to take online knitting lessons after I understand more knitting terminologies. I know that I still can't do this yet with my current level, but I am excited because it's also a way of using English.

The photo I shared is my current project. I am knitting a stuffed bear for my grandson.
