I had a habit of going to the beach each time that I could. Most of theace time, I was on my own as I would go very early in the morning or at the end of the day when the temperature starts to go down. It was a little bit cold, but I liked it and no one was there to bother me. I was about to leave the beach when my eyes found confort in a familiar silhouette. It was as beautiful as ever. I stopped my steps and looked at her nearing me. Without saying a word, I observed ger and took a picture of her. As she and her dog got closer to me , I jumped on the occasion to take more pictures. Her dog carefully led her as to not run into me. I decided to stay silent and pretend I wasn't here. I thought it would've been better since the little incident I had with her at the coffee shop.
"It's you, right?" asked the woman, stopping right in her track. No one was at the beachn escept for me and her. I thought for a moment that she was talking to herself, but she added:
"The guy from tje coffee shop..." she said, which surprised me. " How did she know?" I thought. I lightly laughed out of embarassment.
"Yes, how did you know I was here ?" I said, curious to find out how she was able to feel my presence.
" Your scent smells like cologne mixed with orange." she said confidently.
"Haha, you're right! Listen, for the other d--"
"My name is Alexa and you ?"
" I'm Dwayne. I'm sorry for offending you last time. It was not my intention." I said, rubbing the back of my neck, bu she smiled, which confused me for a moment. She started to walk again, but I followed her silently like a kid. Strangely, despite her visual impairment, she was so confident, not like me.
"Let's meet again!" I said in a fast motion as if my like was threaten. Then I walked away and went straight to my house. All the way, I was thinking about her and how weird I acted around her. I was too afraid not to get an answer from her so I ran away.
You seem to have written this very quickly and so made a number of spelling mistakes... it's good to take one's time and reread what's written...
That's true! I'll pay more attention next time... You know, even when I reread my own post, I sometimes cannot find the mistakes because my brain automatically remembers what I wrote and doesn't pay attention anymore to omitted words, spelling mistakes and so on...
Thanks for the advice and the corrections Graeme! Thanks to Vince as well!
I often write in Google translate, in Arabic but I check the English - it gives me a heads up if I make some stupid mistakes, not all sadly ;)
