Hi there! Nice to meet you. I am Yumi from Japan who has been learning conversational English for years to make my dreams come true. I am quite new here and it's my first post. I used to use Lang-8 for years. Since Lang-8 closed, I started using this website to improve my writing skills in English.

I’d like to introduce myself a little bit. As I mentioned that I am Japanese who is an English learner. I am a china painter and trying to sell my art pieces to the world. I love blending the Japanese style with the Western style and creating my own style in my art. I am optimistic and good at making lots of friends. My hobbies are knitting, baking, cooking and gardening. So, I probably will write journal entries about my art, knitting, cooking, baking, gardening and my family. I am a grandma, mom and wife as well.

I am looking forward to meeting new people and making friends with some of them here.
