If love had a colour, what would it be? I don't think it would be blue... Blue is rather cold. Red? It is not an innocent colour, I believe. Maybe that is a silly question. If blue is rejected for being cold... Then it should be red... And if red is not innocent enough... Then I cannot deny that it should be white. Maybe that is why wedding dresses are white. Some part of me now thinks that wedding dresses are white just to make the bride distinctive among the crowds. However, to serve this purpose, yellow would also be appropriate...
I always consider women look better in a white dress, however I can't say the same thing for brides. In that case, the white colour simply loses its magic.
Here is a poem I started and forgot to complete.
Beauty marks
were on her eyelids
and on her neck.
She was not all in black
Yet, when I loved her
She was not wearing white.
Good! In Christian cultures white is associated with purity and cleanliness.
