Yesterday was a very busy day, but fun. On the way to my daughter's karate lesson in the evening, my husband was driving and the kids were in the back seat. My son said he would go to the park with his dad. He wanted to play in the playground near the dojo instead of watching his sister practice karate. Then my daughter said, "That's not fair! I want to play at the park too!" My son said, "Okay, then you can come with us." and he asked, "Mom, can you go to karate instead because Dad, my sister and I will play at the park?" I burst out laughing. Karate lessons are for my daughter, not for me. They were speaking in Japanese so I interpreted this conversation to my husband. Anyway, kids are so funny sometimes.
