Hello!

I've only just discovered this website today, and it looks pretty cool. I'd like to use it to improve my (very rudimentary) Chinese skills a little bit, but for now I'm making this first post in English as a sort of test run, to see how this thing works. (Love the typewriter feature btw.)

My native language is Russian, and though I've studied several foreign languages over the course of my life, English is the only one I achieved any sort of fluency in. Recently I've been trying to pick up my Chinese studies again. Admittedly I'm a rather unmotivated person in general, so these efforts have been spotty. If I end up never making another post, feel free to sigh and shake your heads in disappointment!
