Today I have watched a interesting movie which name is Addams Family. This is the first time I watched it and I used both Chinese and English subtitles for better understanding the plot. Most actors speak very quickly except Gomez whose pronunciation is very clear when he is in exciting or fury motion. I plan to watch again this movie on this weekend and third time in next week and then I will only use English subtitle and no subtitle.
Adams family live in a castle shape house. they are powerful straightforward rich and special. One day, Gomez's accounter found that his client has a lot of money so he collude Gorden's family to steal Gomez's possession. However, Gordon who lost his memory is the older brother of Gomez and his real name is Fester. Gordon's mother didn't know the relation between his adaptive son and Gomez. She asked Gordon to impost Fester for living in Gomez's house and found some chance to steal into vault where Gomez stock his golden coins. Gordon reluctantly trys many times but still can't find the right path to vault. At the end, Gordon follows his heart and aganist his mother, during the process a light arise Gordon's forgotten memory and he remember that he is real Fester.
The plot of this movie is not complicated but many grandios and intensed factors make this movie intriguing such as Baroque ornament coffin witches magic and the so on. The Adams Family members are powerful straightforwar innocent and rich. I found that these factors are admire in many cultures. Althought having same factors, how to use thses status is significantly different in the movies of different cultures. In most western movies I have watched protagonists who has these factors show how special they are. In some asian movies like some chinese or japanese movies I have watched, however, protagonists who have these characters are usually living in a low key life and show how normal they are. This is difference which may relate to culture custom evironment era and so on. I don't think this one is better than another but I believe that the more things I understand the more I can understand well to other people. To sum up, this is my watching review of Adams Family for the first time. I hope that I will have other thoughts during watching for second and third times.

Great movie review! I love how you introduced cultural differences! I had a similar reaction (but in the opposite direction) with one of the Jackie Chan movies made for a Chinese audience. In an American action hero movie, the hero is actively taking charge and making things happen. In this made-for-China movie, Jackie Chan was just an ordinary person, minding his own business, and things kept happening to him. It seemed very different and odd to me. Great first post!
