This is my first post in here after a week of absence. I wasn't too busy, although I have had a pretty tight schedule. I was rather disorganised and tired than overworked, I must admit.
Now I feel much better and I have to say, that there was one case that made me restrain myself. It happened on one of my last English classes. We had a pretty interesting discussion with my teacher about the differences between generations. And she showed me the video, in which we can see Millennials in many different absurd and humoristic situations. When some of Generation Y members' shortcomings become too obvious (i'm not certain about this word) and it makes them amusing. For instance, their lazyness, or immatureness and so on.
So, I still cannot avoid a thought that I have this qualities as well, and it is the reason why I feel myself disorganised and lost sometimes.
Sorry for this confusing peace of writing. I guess it is because the lack of practice.
I always feel a bit torn when I hear that (for example) I have most of the qualities from the other generation but then I try to remember that this grouping was just someone's idea to classify people and show the general trends in society and not to explain our entire lives, so we do not have to fit into those boxes :) At the end of the day we are just ourselves and we have our individual set of strengths and flaws.
The thoughts and topics from language classes are one of my favourite impulses to reflect and get to know myself more, I see it happened to you too, keep writing :)
You can basically make fun of any generation, they're all just group labels that don't always mean that much anyway. Did the teacher only show videos about Millennials or did they show movies of other generations too?
