Classic 🎻vs. Metal🤘
I usually do not listen to music anything while I am studying, writing, working, and reading books because I focus on the music too much. I love music, and I enjoy singing and playing music, so I intense more music than others doing a thing if I play audio. However, I read some articles that our brain gets the support to memorize or focus on something from the music power. Of course, I have heard the Mozart effects on children before, but I did not believe it. Even though I loved playing classical music on the piano. However, I love rock, folk , country rock, and blues when I play music and sing.
Going back to the topic; I read another perspective article for improving brain quality. The article was written by one a Japanese female doctor, and she explained that death metal could be effective for brain relaxation and control of anxiety. Indeed to me, I can sleep well when I listen to metal music in fact. That is just my experience, but it is true. I realized that metal is helpful for me because I don't focus on the music as a specific part. I can listen to it, such as just sounds. So, I can sleep well since I worked at the music live house. Thus, I always listen to metal music when I get a power nap during lunchtime; it's my daily habit to take a tiny nap for 10 mins every lunch break.
If so, I think that I am relaxing while I am listening to metal. Well, my brain also gets clear if I listen to metal during my creative work 🧠?? OK, I will try to take some tests on myself this week on how it can work for my every work; reading, writing, creating, thinking, etc.
Are you listening to music while you are doing something? Effectiveness? Which music do you recommend for creative work?
I like listening to piano music while I work! I find it relaxing. I feel like listening to metal while trying to concentrate on something else would be stressful for me, but maybe I should give it a try!
Congrats! Your English level is quite high and you have entered the realm of beyond right or wrong, but rather, how best to express a thought clearly and succinctly. (If that's what you intend to do.) Sometimes, less is more! Use simpler sentence structures and try to employ more often simple present tense, rather than using conditional or present continuous. Time to think about if you want to write like Ernest Hemingway or James Joyce!
@CharlotteZ Thank you for your comment and corrections. I tried to listen to classic music for my reading time, but it could work actually. Only nature sounds are worked for me. How about metal for you?
@ZeStudent Thank you for your comment, and I am pleased to hear that. Yes, honestly, I always write a lot because I am worried that readers might not be able to understand my sentences. So, when I review my writing, I always feel that it is too long. Your comment, "Sometimes, less is more!" was an amazing phrase for me!
