Yhtenä päivänä, oli puhun suomalainen ystävä. Kysyin tuo ystävä, jos hän oli vielä Suomessa. Hän vastannut, että ei ole enää Suomessa, vaan Portugalissa.
Miksi olin kysyy?
Haluaisin suomekielisestä kirjasta Suomalta, vastasin.
En tiedä Muumi-sarjaa. Tuo sarja on tosi suosittu, joten, haluaisin tietää. Ja haluan lukea sitä suomesta.
Youtubessa on virallainen Muumin-animaatiosarja, mutta on vain englantia...Haluan harjoitella ja osaa suomea, ei englantia!

I hope I understood correctly, what you meant. BTW, you can order Muumi books in Finnish for instance at this online shop, they deliver also to other countries. https://www.booky.fi/search.php?search=Muumi
Thank you so much for your feedback!
Oh, I didn't know that website, kiitos! I asked my friend because I was worried about the shipping costs ^^' My friend said that her parents send her parcels with Finnish things from time to time, so that they could send the book in it! On the official Moomin website the book I wanted was out of stock (and I didn't know the title in Finnish so I couldn't find it on bookdepository, but know I can and it has free shipping to Portugal, but since it has a smaller selection of books in Finnish, I'm sure there will be some book I'll buy from booky!)
Do you know somewhere I could watch the animated series in Finnish, perhaps?
Try YLE Areena I guess at least some programs can be viewed also in the EU region. https://areena.yle.fi/1-4529479 If you put in the sear - Hae - Muumi - you can maybe find more interesting stuff. You can also get the Finnish subtitles, click on the "text" icon on the right bottom area. Edit: Sorry, probably it doesn't work for you. You would have to have your permanent residence in Finland tobe able to watch in the EU area. Youtube has some: https://www.youtube.com/results?sp=mAEB&search_query=Muumit
Yeah, someone had suggested me YLE Areena to watch shows before, but I couldn't use it because of location (even if Finnish expats in Portugal could, because they already had their accounts before, I guess?) But thanks for the Youtube link! Maybe someday I can find all episodes of the show somewhere, if the official channel never posts the Finnish version :/
You could also try if this works outside of Finland, it's YLE kielikoulu where you can watch some Yle Areena content with language aids. https://yle.fi/aihe/kielikoulu-sprakskolan#english
I didn't know this website (only the normal yle one) seems really helpful! Unfortunately, it seems I'm not able to watch anything, just like I can't on yle, because it only works for people in Finland or accounts created in Finland (since the Finns here seem to be able to watch it). My free VPN doesn't seem to fix the issue either. But I'll save it, maybe someday if I find myself in Finland, I can use it :)
Oh, that's really unfortunate!
