No doubt, there is a before, and it will be an after. Everything has changed in our perception of the world's reality with the virus. After the challenge of individual protection, time is now for collective ones with vaccination. Since the beginning, people are separating into two clans. Covid 19 is like flu, and there is no more death with each one. But covid is not a seasonal disease like flu, and there are more dead people because of the duration. At the same time, arguing has been on individual behavior and the governments' measures to protect the population (confinement, restriction of gathering). Now the discussion is on immunization. It's not as simple as it seems. I've read on social media a post by a pro-vaccination that he was proud that his grandfather went to get vaccinated. Why does he be proud? I'm not proud of my relatives when they get a vaccination against the flu! It's not clear in the mind of everybody.
I've seen a specialist's interview about death statistics of covid in a great hospital that the average of live's reduction for ill people is about three years. that means people who died are elder with other illness with a short survive hope. I don't find other publications about that, but undoubtedly, because attention is focused on treatment and prevention, and that good.
I've read that in twenty years, the sea level will increase by about twenty centimeters (approximatively 8 inches). How many ices will it represent? How many will the frost release viruses and micro-organisms? Does the future overpass fiction? Welcome to the future.
I like your description of the before and after. This is a good topic to discuss. Well done on tackling an interesting and difficult topic in your new language.
I also enjoyed your presentation of the current situation leading into possibilities for the future. I think some additional clarification is needed but overall a good piece on an important issue.
