And everything turned out great!

Two days ago I wrote here about how much I wanted Messi to win the World Cup, and if it happened it would be the happiest day of my life as a football fan.

And he won!!!!!!

There is so much to say about it, but I don't even know how to start.

The game was great, in my opinion it was the greatest greatest game in a World Cup final, and besides that it was the best football game I ever watched.

Argentina played better than France in most of the time, and to be honest I wasn't expecting that.

Messi scored the first goal, and after a excellent counter attack Di Maria scored the second goal.

Everything above occured in the first half. In the second half France had a penalty. Mbappe scored a goal, and 2 minutes later he scored another goal (an outstanding goal btw).

At this point France was much better in the game, and they almost scored the third goal. But the Argentina players managed to hold on, and play overtime.

In the overtime Argentina already was playing better, it was when Messi scored the second goal.

I was so happy at this moment, that I couldn't bring myself to stay seated in the couch.

Sadly, 2 minutes before the end of the game France had another penalty, and Mbappe scored the third goal, and also his third goal in the game.

I couldn't believe in what I was watching, I already could see Messi crying.

The game ended, and it would be decided in penalties.

Mbappe was the first to score, and Messi the second one.

The following France players missed two penalties (Martinez defended the second, and the third went out of the target), and after that it was easy to confirm the victory!

I was so cheerful at this moment the I was screaming around the house.

I couldn't wrap my head around that Messi was the world champion, everything was like a dream.

Fortunately, this dream became true!

Messi won every possible title, and he finished the game becoming a world champion.

If I were him I'd retire, it would be amazing. But from the bottom of my heart I don't want him to retire at the moment, because I still want to watch his games and enjoy the best football player ever!
