One of the flash thoughts that came to my mind after waking up at 3 a.m. for no reason. I might use it later to write a poem (if I can get better at writing 😂).
And in such despair having Morpheus descended
Extending his torporific mantle;
Both, the wretched and the contented,
Found themselves facing their battle.
And falling in the deepest lethargy
Embraced by the deafening silence
The wretched, the one who spoke to the air
And in life didn't fare well,
Awaited for the king to ascend
to the golden zenith again.
So Iwrote it here for two reasons:
1. by doing this won't forget it
2. I might get new ideas from your comments to start writing an actual poem for the first time.
