Good morning y'all, how are you doing today? Today I'm going to talk about my favorite anime, light novel, and manga genre! Maybe you're asking, "And why don't you talk about other movies and series aside from anime?" The answer is simple my friend, all I watch is 2d.
Well, of course that's a lie, that would be almost impossible, I don't know someone who has only watched anime movies and series, that would be insane. I know a YouTuber called The Anime Man who claimed a few years ago to have watched every anime in existence. He doesn't watch anime now, though. He said that back then all he used to do was watch anime, but I really doubt that he didn't watch any other movies or series. You'd have to be crazy to do that. But to be honest, the last non-anime movie that I watched was a few months ago, it was the minions movie. Dude/girl, what a good movie, I don't really know the name of the original movie in English but y'all know where Gru comes from, right? I've always loved those movies, so I was really hyped when they announced Minions 2. I give it 8 stars, because I was expecting the movie to have more story about Gru, but it was actually pretty good.
And the last non-anime series that I watched was GoT, I only started watching it because I lacked middle-age vocabulary but at the end I really loved it. I think they just released a new series about the Targaryen family, I'll watch it when they finish releasing all the chapters.
So if I've only been watching anime series and movies since one year ago (not sure), I should have watched a large number of anime, right? No clue. I never kept record, so I don't know the exact number. Oh forget it, I just remembered, I actually did keep record the first two months. I'd watched 40 back then, I think. I should create a Myanimelist account in order to remember which animes I have already watched and how much I rated them. But I dooooon't want to. If I did that, I would have to start searching for all the animes I've already watched, rate all of them and all that boring stuff. That's a problem for JJOA of the future!
I think I've talked or typed (I don't know which one y'all prefer) long enough to start writing about the important stuff, you know, what's in the title of this post. Do I have any favorite genres, though? Yes, yes I do! I began my anime "journey" (what an amazing word!) with some serious shit, then I realized that more chill anime was not bad. I noticed I preferred the slice of life genre! And you know, or maybe it's just me, who knows, slice of life anime usually has comedy as well. So I used to only watch comedy anime, which was actually hard to get. I don't know if y'all are familiarized or have had the same experience as I have, but comedy anime is a lot of times just cringe and a few laughs. But I didn't want to waste the episodes I invested in an anime so I would normally finish them regardless their quality. Then I moved onto romance anime, which I still love. And later, I just started watching whatever I came across on the internet!
Now I'm currently reading a light novel and watching four animes. But I'm also tired, so I think I'll be going to bed soon, this post will be over a few words ahead! Brace yourself! Just for going off on a tangent for a second. Dude/girl, what an amazing picture I chose for this post. Not only it's from a good anime as Lucky Star but the character is clad (I got this word yesterday hehe) the same as a character in Haruhi Suzumiya. Now, bye. Thanks for reading and correcting.
