A: They wanna move up the meeting for a weather reason, but I need to go to the store. Can you pull some strings?

B: I'll try to see if I can push it back a few hours. No promises, though.

A: It's okay. I already feel like I'm running late even though the highway is pretty empty.

B: Keep in mind this is just one-off, and I won't be able to make it happen down the line, or they'll think we're not taking things seriously.

A: I had to skip breakfast to try and get to both places in time.

B: I'm actually running good on time just 'cause I did all the groceries yesterday.

A: I should've done it yesterday on the way to the post office.

B: You might need to start doing that to save time from now on.

A: Yeah, well, it doesn't depend on me. Sometimes, I can get stuck in traffic and other times, there are a lot of people standing in line to pay for their groceries.

B: No worries, it's done. They asked me why, and I told them that something came up.

A: My bad for making you lie for me.

B: It's been forever since I got a haircut, so I'll try to make an appointment now that I have more time on my hands.

A: Dude, you don't even have enough hair. It's gonna take them like 30 seconds to cut your hair.

B: I'm doing this just 'cause you came to me and asked me for a favor, so you'd better watch what you say.

A: I'm just kidding, man. Lunch for this week is on me, but don't even think of making me order food from a fishy place.
