Testing out BDT (The Bidirectional Translation Method) from Luca Lampariello (#Ep01 Part 2)

Hi guys!
In this miniseries, I test out the bidirectional translation method. I'm curious to know how it works and if it's a method I could apply in my language learning routines. In the end of this experience, I will give you my feedback.
If you haven't seen the first part, go check it out there! In the next episode, I will translate the text I wrote yesterday from English into Swedish. In the method made by Luca Lampariello, it's important to wait for about 24 or 48 hours before translating back.
So let's go for the second part of the text I chose to translate in English.
Swedish text from Svenska med Anastasia :
Här är en plats där man kan röka. Man får inte röka inne i lägenheterna men man kan röka här. Nu ska jag gå och checka ut. Barnen leker i lekparken.
English Translation :
Here is a place where you can smoke. We shouldn't smoke in the appartment, but we can smoke here. Now, we can go and do the checking out. The children play in the playground. What does it sound? We are going to go further. Where are we going to go? We are there. We are there in Zadar. We come here for 10 days maybe. Maybe we'll extend. We have rent our apartment for 10 nights. So if you want, we can extend the booking. We extend and choose to travel elsewhere. We should see. The weather is amazing. It's 35°C. We have just come. We have not packed up our luggage. We have taken our swimsuits and come direct to the beach. There is a beach in this city. There is no sand without a bit of little stones. The water is warm, exactly as we love.
Hey, Thank you for bringing this to our attention! It's certainly an interesting method. Let us know what you think... I decided to give it a try with English <--> Mandarin. Maybe I will post it if I get time.
Hi! Thank you for your feedback. I will post the second step of this method, which is translating from the English translation into the target language. In my case, this is Swedish. The first step was interesting because it showed me how much I can understand from a text in the language I'm learning.
