I finished reading my first book in English yesterday, It was about travel and nomadic life, which is a topic I have been always interested in. The book was not too extensive but for me reading it was motivating, because I realized thath my reading skills had improved a considerably.

I had tried reading another book before but I found the process boring and even tedious, therefore I didn't finish reading it. I think it was because I was not genuinely interested in the topic. Nowadays I'm aware of the importance of studying using topics you like. The more you like the topic the more quick you learn and the less painful is the process.

Now I'm planning reading the book again, this time using the Lingq App in order to learn the specific words I didn't understand the first time.
