I signedup for Journaly 1 year ago, but I didn't post any journal. I was doing host mother last year, and it was a little hard experience. It was not my first time hosting an international student, still there was much difficulty. So I needed to focus on it and I didn't have any time to write a journal in English( I was exhausted to use English every single day with him).
But now I have spare time for myself. So I decided to learn English again. I use some apps to study English, but most of them are INPUT. I think I need something to OUTPUT and I believe Journaly is good for it.
I'm thinking about what to post from now on.

Hi Tmm, A belated welcome and well done with your first post! Wow, I would imagine your English got a lot of work if you had to speak all day to your guest in English! I stayed with a host recently, but I spoke her language. It was nice because she could correct me when I made errors and it helped my Spanish. Anyway, how nice of you to do such a thing. You can write about anything. I am about to google "writing prompts" so if I find anything good, I will try to remember to let you know. Well done again, and welcome!
Hi Valentina! Wow, I bet you learned so much with her! I wish I also could do so, but he seemed to be uncomfortable using Japanese and making mistakes. I told him that making mistakes is not a bad thing. It's a huge chance to improve your Japanese. Still, he didn't want to use Japanese :( But to tell the truth, it was a great experience for me. Anyway, thank you for your welcome and nice comment!
I did learn a lot, and I would like to do it again someday for longer. One of the things I learned fairly painfully but quickly about learning a new language is that I had to figure out how to be comfortable making mistakes with nearly every word I utter. My Spanish gets downright strange sometimes, but I am using it to communicate, and that is the point. However, your English seems excellent, so clearly you got something out of that year! Hope to see you around. Be well!
