One of my biggest purposes for this year 2021 is to write every day, that means to build a new habit that I had never done before. When it comes to doing a new thing that is thrilling, your motivation is high and you want to start as soon as possible, but I don’t want to fail in this purpose. So I’ve been reading some articles about journaling and the best way to begin with it and keep writing through the years.
With this idea in mind I have the three key tips to begin journaling and made it a habit:
1. Choose a regular hour in the day to write. You need to schedule the time that is better for you for this activity.
2. Create a list of simple questions in order to not fall in the time that you don’t know what to write, for example the questions would be: what were the three things that felt good today?, there was something new that you learned today?, how does this new information apply to you?, do you disagree with someone?, why do you disagree?, what was the point of view from the other person?
3. Don’t push pressure on you by writing a bunch of pages each day, it’s ok if you write a few sentences. The idea is to make journaling a habit, an activity that doesn't create stress, be enjoyable and don’t take so much of your time.
So, I firmly believe that with these three keys tips described above would give me a good path to begin Journaling and make it everyday.
Nice job, Aldo. I like your advice and I am going to try to follow it. Just write a little bit everyday and turn journaling into an easy-to-do daily habit. I have just started learning Spanish and don't know enough yet to try to write in your language. Looking forward to you other posts.
You have a lovely grasp of English already, well done! Keep up the journaling, you're doing great!
These are great tips! I will try and follow them too, especially no.2. You write well!
Thank you so much all of you for your time to read this post. I’ll definitely use your recommendations and corrections for my next entries, they are invaluable for me. Thanks for the support and the encouraging.
