I have a question to you: Do you follow your heart or the most important is to be the reason?
I'm 36 years old and last year a friend of mine said: You are the most emotional guy that I know. After that I thought about some points in my life and started to notice the choices that some people make or things they do...
It's strange because we often do something that we don't want to, but we need to.
But what do you really want? Is it possible to silence our inner voice, that one live in our heart and just follow the reason? Why so difficult balance heart and mind?

A good question! I try to reason through my decisions, but I often end up going with my feelings. I think it's important to balance the two, to listen to your instincts but also check them with reason.
Yes this is a good question. I think it is sometimes easier for me to judge other people who make dumb decisions because they want immediate gratification, rather than taking a step back and pausing before jumping into my own decisions that are based on my own desires but in the end may be destructive. And sometimes I am pressured into decisions because of other people’s desires - such as when I see something on sale and I think hmm I don’t really want this but because the salesman wants me to get it now then I guess I should get it now. On the other hand, the only decisions I enjoy and think back happily about are the decisions I made because I wanted to do those things even though they were destructive. And sometimes I think back gratefully on decisions I made because someone else really strongly felt that I should do that thing, and I would not have done it otherwise. In the end, it is a gamble - and having the possibility of a decision being terrible makes the thrill of deciding to do that thing all the more valuable.
Great @Siobhan! At least for me it is difficult have balance in all my decisions. At the same time I think that when we reach it, the best things in our lives come.
