Since my last post we took a short holiday. Then people came to stay and others visited , so my learning went a little astray.
But now I can get back with intention.
I have a new teacher in Italian , ( about to have the second lesson ). The first introductory lesson went very well.
Portuguese and Icelandic have slowed up, but not forgotten. I will continue tick along with those two.
I have to admit that the Icelandic is proving difficult , more from the lack of time .
Learning the pronunciation is not a problem.
Italian is my main goal, so the other two can just tick along for now. A word learned here or there, I'm not going to panic over it.

Glad to hear you're back and language learning is going well enough. This seemed almost like a poem, so there were some things I didn't comment on because stylistically they could make sense for a poetic construction (but sound a little strange for everyday writing).
thanks for your comments Natalie , maybe I am a poet ,I never thought of it that way :-) but then maybe poets do not always think grammatically ?
