DAY EIGHT

I do a lot better on the app answering the questions but it feels pretty shallow.

Trying out Memrise.com and I think I like their Japanese course better than Duolingo. Maybe it only feels like that because it’s new? Duolingo has been pretty boring and I have forced myself to do it each day. Finding more joy in flashcards than Duolingo.

Also, I’m pretty good at reading hiragana by now but writing it… I have bad handwriting with letters I learned as a kid, I’ve always hated my handwriting so writing in hiragana is just painful, feels like I’m insulting Japanese people with this attempt.

HOMEWORK: Try to pay more attention to kanji. (I like how I have gone from "Do this" to "Try"... not a good sign)
