I love the word farewell.
The word is formed of two parts, fare and well.
"Fare" means "progress", and "well" means "in a good way", so "farewell" means "progress in a good way".
This expression is so beautiful, isn't it?
I hope more and more people use it.
I know this word is kind of old-fashioned, but even so, I want to use it more often.
To think of words we use etymologically is so fun,
and make me realize how expressions we usually don't care is beautiful.

that's bitching!
Thank you for your comment! You like the word bitching? I'd never heard the word before, so I looked up. Interesting word!
i can’t remember many expressions that i like in English, because my vocabulary isn’t great. so, the only one i remembered is “by-heart”, to know something/someone by (my) heart. i like this expression in my native language as well. i think to know something or someone by heart is kinda romantic or just lovely. on the other hand, if someone knows you so well, maybe it will not be so good, right?
another random words that i like in English are: technique, idea and coolest. to me the thing that grabs my attention in new words is more the sound they have instead of the meaning per se.
i like your style of writing. your posts are always lovely. farewell!
@oneperson_01 Yeah! Definitely. The expression "by-heart" sounds really lovely. The sound is also one of the great factors of our palate. I like how Americans pronounce "jot it down". I eager to use this in real conversation, but I've never had the opportunity lol Thank you for sharing your idea! Farewell!
