Many governments think that economic progress is their most important goal. Some people, however, think that other types of progress are equally important for a country.

Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

It is no doubt that having a developed financial system is the most significant aim for the vast majority of countries. However, some people claim that other fields' improvement as essential as economics. In my opinion, while economic progress is vital for countries, other fields of progress are equally important such as education and health progress which can be contibute to life standart.

Regarding economic progress, it is important to have a strong economy that enables countries to be more independent in the international area. This is because a country without economic freedom is not able to invest in the country properly and can rely on other countries' decisions which may not beneficial for it all the time. For instance, there some countries called 3th country of the world. They don't have a strong economy and thus, they don't make a good investment in their country due to economic sufficiency and lack of economical independence. Consequently, they suffer from economic issues all the time and couldn't make a progress in any fields.

That said, some people believe that other types of progress are important as good economics. It seems to be true for several reasons. Firstly as governments don't have any progress in health and educatıoan areas, economic development can not have value. Looking at the citizen view, it is clear that it should progress these areas which can be associated with their life directly and can cause a higher life standard. Having only economic development can not provide high life standard, should be a focus on other important filed too.

In conclusion, while most governments aim to have economic progress, ı agree with some peoples perspective that other types of progress are equally important for the country.
