https://ieltsfocus.com/2017/11/16/ielts-line-graph-model-answer/ I have tried analyzed this graph.

The graph demonstrates the average co2 releasing per individual in the four different European countries from 1967 to 2007.

Overall, the countries in the south of Europe which are İtaly and Portugal, had an upward trend. in contrast, Uk and Sweeden in the north, had a downward trend.

Regarding İtaly and Portuguese, their figures were almost 1 metric tonne at the beginning of the period studied respectively. Until 1977 both showed a gradual increase and stood at over 6 and 2 metric tons respectively, ıt followed by a moderate growth for the next 10 years. From 1987 Portugal increased sharply for the following decade thereafter leveled off nearly at 5 metric tons. Similarly, Italy had a slight rise between 1987 and 1997 then remained at the same level about just under 8 tons.

Looking at the UK and Sweeden, they showed a different pattern between 1967 and 1977. at the beginning of the period, Uk produced almost 11 tonnes co2 and it decreased very slightly during the next ten years. On the other hand, Sweeden's figure climbed from around 9 to over 10 tonnes over the following decade. Then they both decrease but Sweden's figures fell more sharply than Uk's until 1987. At the end of the period, they stood at 9 and 5 tonnes respectively.
