The mother of one of my college roommate was a psychic. She told her daughter that she felt “presences” in all the college, but especially in the bathrooms of the first floor. And really many girls had experienced strange things, that now I’ll describe.

More than one girl said hearing like a singsong or a cry, pronounced by a child's voice, when she went to the bathroom by night. It seemed to me too hearing a soft cry, but maybe it was just a suggestion.

One night, a girl named Anna woke up in her bed because of a light in her room. The light came from a little girl stand up near the close door, who was looking her without speak. The little girl walked toward the window, but disappeared first reaching it and the room returned dark. Anna told us that she wasn’t scare, but that she wasn’t able to move or speak. She is sure she wasn’t dreaming.

Another girl, Sonia, returned to her room in the fourth floor one night, after spent time with friends, and when she entered in her room heard a little girl's voice call her name. She scared a lot and run away down the stair, fell and broke her arm. When she returned from the hospital, with her arm in a cast, her mother helped her to pack, and she left the college by mid-year. She told that she want no longer step foot in that place.

One night, I was studying at the table in my room. Suddenly the light turned off. In each room there is a sink with a cabinet hanging on top of it. As I stood up to turn on the light, the cabinet opened. After a second or two a jar of cream fell in the sink, like it was thrown down forcefully by an invisible hand. After a moment, a second jar fell in the sink. I waited, but nothing else happened, so I turned on the light, put the jars back in the cabinet and returned to study. Even today I don't know why it happened.

This episode is a little different. The last room of the hallway in my floor was occupied by a very old nun, who unfortunately died. Three night after the funeral, a friend of mine came knocking at my door and took me in front of the nun’s room, where was happening “strange things”. You could see a light under the door and, approaching the ear to the door, you could hear a soft voice singing a religious song. Suddenly the door opened and a girl appeared. She screamed. We screamed. But she was only a new entry, she was waiting for a place in the college, and she had moved there in the afternoon, while we were in class. She was a member of a church choir, and that’s why she was singing a religious song. That time it all ended with a laugh.
