Understand English grammar has not been so difficult during my learning, but what really is a struggle for me is to apply these rules in daily life. In a test, I'm able to remember all rules, but during speaking or writing, I always have doubts. One of my bigger struggles is knowing where to use "like" or "as" in phrases.

To train the rules, I'm going to try to create some phrases based on the meaning of the use in the phrase, following the rules from this web page (https://learnenglish.britishcouncil.org/grammar/intermediate-to-upper-intermediate/as-and-like)

- Making comparisons

The online presentation is not so uncomfortable as in-person presentations.

This algorithm works like the old-time ones.

People are living as if they did not have an in-person life before.

Without vaccine on the horizon, we are living as though we are never going to see each other in-person again.

All hackers are not bad people like we usually believe.

-Giving examples

We can try different exercises inside the home like push-ups and jump rope.

-Talking about a job or function

- as to connect two phrases

As I coding I, I always listen to a podcast.

As expected, I cannot concentrate too much on doing two things at the same time.
