It's completely insane but lately, I have been hearing and reading about things I have no idea about! For instance, the other day I read about the Company Tesla and its CEO Elon MUSK Who bought 1.5 billion worth of bitcoins! Of course I have stumbled across this term many times before, however I had never known exactly what does it exactly mean? Naturally, I made some researches and know I have a clearer ideas even if I didn't understand the whole concept to be franc 😅.
Yesterday, I was listening to a super cool podcast while decluttering my desk and one expression started to come out again and again: "NFT"? At that moment, I had no idea about what it stood for and given that I’m a curious person, I made here again some researchs and I have discovered the "Non fangible Token" world which I had no clues about before. These are just two examples among so many others fields I’m far from mastering.
Now, even If I got the outlines of these new concepts, I still have a lot of difficulties to wrap my head around them and see their utility to be completely honest. That prove that I have somehow fell behind and I’m not updated anymore! That scares me so much! We hear all the time that the world is moving so fast and I totaly agree with that. However, I always felt like I was good at staying on track and following the insane fast pace at how things were evolving and changing. Today, I start to feel sort of overwhelmed and old!
That observation could undermine your spirit and get you into a situation where the less you understand, the more you get upset and the more you fall behind... It's a vicious cycle that never end, takes care of itself and gets the situation from worse to worst! In my case, it’s the opposite! Indeed, I'm really happy to be aware about all the things I still have to learn and all the fields where I lack awarness and knowledge. Just like everyone, I have constantly to work on some many things and mostly, I'm willing to do it so everything is ok. As I mentioned in a previous text, adaptability is a must have skill!
As I have said before, the new concepts are going to be more frequent in the futur. The technology will be fast consumed and you will not have the time to get used to a feature before it becomes outdated and get replaced by a brand new one. The best thing to do in my opinion, is to follow some persons who are aware about that and stay tuned by reading on a regular basis. On the other hand, it is never too late to catch up! In fact, it seems to be easier given the countless amazing and free resources that are available. It is all about will power.
Ambitious entry! Well written and interesting. Good luck!
Many thanks Kel
