Sunday morning, a new week is about to start and I am super excited about it! In fact, I have been exhausted for few weeks now but still, I feel very optimistic about the upcoming days and I am determined to achieve as much things as possible, especialy given that I haven't done that much lately. I am about to take my car and head to my office, which is usually super tough and painful (I hate so bad sunday morning, it gave me rash 😂) though, today it seems slightly diffrent.
One of the main reason is that this week, the students will be on holidays. Given that they are the biggest source of the huge traffics my city has (in fact it is because the parents that drop then pick up their children all day long, but also the bus and students transportations that creat a real chao). That causes me a headach every morning, even before I leave home! Indeed, I start thinking about the best commute to take and how to avoid to be stuck while I am eating my breakfast, showering and getting dressed! It is a nightmare! Fortunately, we will catch up our breath at least during a whole week, before resuming the very same and awful situation, but let's not project ourselves to far, and enjoy this upcoming days 😅
Beside that, I feel confident and motivated to tackle this new week because I have had a pretty good and super productive week end! Unusually, I had two full days between friday and saturday. You might be wondering "why would you like to be busy during your days off"? Well, the true is that when I do nothing, I ended up more fatigued than I was, and I feel like I have lost such a precious time! Whereas when I am active, I feel really good. This time, I was able to spend some quality time with my family and friends (while respecting the guidances obviously), I wrapped up few things that were on hold for so long (it was so fulfilling and relieving to be finaly done with it) and I have also dedicated a decent part to my own well being. Indeed, I worked out, went for long walks and got the amount of sleep I needed.
Last but not least, the weather has been so good the vast majority of the time, which led a lot of people to go outside and make the most of these amazing conditions. It was cool to see like we have been back to the normal way of life, even though it is not the case at all and the threat is still there. However, people are craving some social interactions, some fresh air to breath and some warm sun to face! What made me even happier was that in the vast mojority of the time, people were responsible and kept a high level of awerness.
Oftentime, the work weeks that come just after this kind of week-end are always so productive and enjoyable to live, that is mainly why I'm showing this enthusiasm and optimism. In reality, I should be having this very same mindset every saturday morning. See, it is something I want to work on seriously in the futur, because it makes no sens to link a day or a period of time to something sad by default! By doing so, you are basically setting the stage for a bad mood authomaticly, which is a pity don’t you think?
Anyway, let's jump right into this new week! I will keep you on post 😉✌🏻
Hi Achraf, it's the first post I've read from you in a while now and I really got the impression that your English has improved a lot. Well done! =) It sounds like you had a really nice weekend and I can totally relate to keeping yourself busy during your time off. It feels good to do stuff you really enjoy doing or that's important to you.
Hi Caro 😊 Thanks ado much for the kind words, it means a lot coming from you 🙏🏼
