Almost two weeks ago, on a sunny day, my husband and I took our dogs for a walk. I never let them off the leash when I take them for a walk because I can't control them, but my husband often does it. I love watching them run together, especially when I see our old black Lab, Coco, look very lively.

Kai (Border Collie) and Coco have become good friends, even though he sometimes makes her tired because he's very energetic. Coco sometimes can't keep up with him. I hope having a young friend like Kai will help keep her young at heart and healthy.

As kept walking, we spotted a rice field where farmers were harvesting the rice.

October is one of my favorite months because the weather is very mild and most days are sunny.

You can see downtown Osaka over there. We live in a quite rural area in Osaka, and I love living in a countryside because it's my first experience and I'm quite enjoying my life. We have two dogs, a cat, and a garden. Life here is wonderful.

The dogs enjoyed running around, while we humans enjoyed walking. Coco sometimes disappeared, so we had to call her name to find her, while Kai never left us. He always stayed close and followed us.

When we went by the same rice paddies on our way back, all the rice had been harvested.
