hello,

today im going to talk about the recent TV shows that I've been watching and tell you a little bit about it to try and make you want to watch them as well.

so first of all in the early September I started a TV show available on Netflix called Brooklyn 99, its a sitcom ( short for situation comedy ) which is a type of tv show which recurring characters, decors and humorous everyday life situation.

To summarise the story, you basically follow the journey of a surprising group of colleagues within the NYPD (New York police department) and get to see some interesting background stories if we can say it like that ( romance, friendship...).

I've watched the 5 first seasons of Brooklyn 99 and I can say that I have enough knowledge about this show to be able to tell that it is an incredibly funny show with interesting characters, I like how we get to know the story of each character which adds depth to the show in my opinion and makes the show even more interesting. I love it and I would definitely recommend it if you want to watch something light, funny and quick since each episode last approximately 20minutes.

I've also recently watched "Sterling point" which is an amazon prime romance, teenage tv show. It follows the story of a girl trying to learn about her deceased mom's life on a Canadian island on which she will meet new people, bond with them and of course try to discover the truth that remained for long hidden about here life. It really is a teenage show in the way that it also circles a lot around romantic relationships within the group of friends, so it also really belongs to the category of romance but I love romance shows so I didn't bother at all. I loved the show and I would recommend it to people wanting to see something maybe a little corny in some ways but also really powerful on the emotional side. The episodes are a little bit longer ( 45min ) but there's only one season of 8 episodes out so it can be watched quickly too.

The third show that I am currently watching is abbott elementary, it is a sitcom as well and a really funny one. It takes place in an elementary school in Pennsylvania and follows a group of teachers in their everyday life at this school trying to fight for a higher annual budget for the school ( the school is underfunded ) so that they can make their students life and their jobs easier. Again I love this show, im on season 4 and I love the humour of this series. I also love how you get to know each character better as time goes on and you really get attached to them, they all have their own personality which makes them very likeable in their own ways. I would recommend that show if you are looking for something light, funny and if you don't have a lot of time, because like a lot of sitcoms the episodes are really quick ( 20minutes) which is great if you only have time to watch one but trust me you get very quickly into it and stream an entire season in one sitting.
