I watched a Baduk game on online yesterday. So I want to talk about Baduk stuffs such as Baduk population and etc. Baduk is a classic game, which is famous specially for East Asia, Korea, Japan and China. The game users figures is quite different comparatively. Speaking of the numbers, there are 8 million in Korea, and there are 60 million in China and then Japan has 1.2 million users, the lowest. These data are interesting, because Japan was the best country in that game, but now they don't pay attention from some periods. In the other hand, China has tremendous game populations, far higher than other nations with 60M, which is more than Korean real population, 50M.  

As you can imagine, China is the best Baduk nation with not only game population but game ability. In the China league when you win just one game, you can get 10M won; $7,400. It's unimaginable numbers for normal people. If you win time and time, you can be millionaire at a sudden. However, I guess it's not easy to win again and again. Because there're lots of good pro players in China. Plus, Many Korean gamers participate in the league to earn the big money. Korea has a world-class player, "Shin Jin-Seo", who won against AI and he has 22 consecutive wins in international matches. It's the new world record. Yes, today's story was about game population and Shin and, Chinese Baduk league.
