The temperature was 38 ℃, but a friend of mine and I went antiquing together. It's our first time visiting the Kyoto Heian Antique Market in two years, so we were really excited.

The antique market is one of the leargest in the Kansai region. When we saw all the vendors, we were thrilled.

We saw the sign saying that the next market would be held on September 15th. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to attend. Instead, I'll probably go antiquing at a different market with my daughter. I'm really looking forward to it as well.

I started looking for soba-choko, while my friend was looking for some treasures for herself.

There were lots of vintage Japanese table ware, and looking around at them was so much fun!

I found lots of vintage blank teacups and I almost bought some, but I ended up not buying any. If they had matching saucers, I definitely would bought some.

We came across some Japanese swords. They're probably replicas, but they looked still cool.

I was happy when I saw Otsu-e from my hometown. You can see some in the picture below.

The sign said those dishes had fixed by kintsugi. I think the half of visitors were from overseas because of the location, and that's why there were lots of Japanese items.

After enjoying shopping, we had lunch at a soba restaurant. The cold soba was delicious.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any soba-choko, so I'm looking forward to visiting another markets in the future. I ended up buying some broken pieces of pottery for kintsugi and some old postcards for myself and for my American pen pal.
