I'm a huge fan of hinged porcelain boxes and I've been collecting white Limoges boxes for years.

A couple of weeks ago, I found some hinged white boxes online and I got so excited! I know I shouldn't add any more to my collection because I already have enough, but I couldn't resist. I ordered some. Today I received them.

I was thrilled to unwrap them. When I opened them, I was a bit surprised because they were much larger than Limoges boxes. Even so, they looked very cute, and I immediately loved them. Now, I regret not buying a few more because they are vintage dead-stock items made by Japanese craftsmen.

I'm working on a porcelain tile now, but once I finish it, I'd love to start working one of these boxes. I'm really excited about it!
