Do you like watching old black and white movies? Although I'm not a big fan of them, I have a few favorites. Today I'd like to introduce Charlie Chaplin's movies called The Kid. It was made in 1921, so people in the movie don't speak. We need to read scripts, but the story is so touching.
My father is a huge fan of Charlie Chaplin, and he often took me to a movie theater to watch his films when I was a kid. When I was a high school student, I read about his biography. I learned that Charlie Chaplin was born in a very poor family and grew up in a workhouse in London. That's probably why he was good at describing poverty in his creations.
The Kid is 105 year's old but it's still a masterpiece. It's a comedy, but it can bring tears to your eyes. When you finish watching it, I'm sure you'll start thinking about what love really means. I hope you like this movie. Enjoy!

I’ve actually never watched a silent film before and just wanted to take a quick look. I was really surprised to find it interesting—and somehow relaxing, completely without all the chatter—and I ended up watching it all the way to the end.
Hi, thank you for the comment. I'm happy to read that you enjoyed watching the movie.
