Little Farms

I would like to have a little kitchen garden in my house. I have a large patio so it is possible. My family and I do not eat lots of vegetables, though. But that is not a problem, we would eat those we like, and I would happily give the rest to my extended family.

I would start with tomatoes, little potatoes, cherries, garlic, bay, and others.

I would love to have some trees as well, but that is too much already.

So, I have been watching lots of videos about this topic. I found them very useful. I learned that having a garden is all about patience and that to start, you do not need to know everything. Some things I learned are: if your soil is stiff or hard, you will need to build a sort of crate to hold the suitable soil for the plants. You must fill the crate with logs, branches, cardboard, dry leaves, cow manure, compost, and, of course, soil. Vegetables and fruits, plants in general, feed off light, water and certain nutrients found on the ground. This last part is crucial for 2 things: having suitable soil and rotating farming through the seasons.

Well, that is all for now.
