Today, I met two Japanese women. They're both older than me. One of them, in particular, has a lot of life experience because she's about 50 years older than I am.

We talked about many things, such as the world situation, religion, and my future. One of them asked me, "What do you want to do with your life? What kind of work do you want to do?"

I've always thought that I wanted to communicate with people from all over the world. However, This goal is still too vague.

She also pointed out that even though I'm here in Thailand, my worries are basically the same as they were when I was in Japan.

Wow... what a harsh truth!

But she was absolutely right.

I haven't really changed yet. My study abroad experience is still short, and I've only been here for a little over a month. I don't think I need to panic yet, but I do need to spend more time honestly facing my own heart.

Life is so hard...
