Last month, three of my friends and I met up in Nara and had a fan time together. We first had a lunch at my favorite restaurant.

The picture below shows what two of my friends ordered.

My other friend and I ordered a different dish that you can see in the picture below. Since I introduced this restaurant to them, they have become big fans as well. We really enjoyed every bite.

After lunch, we heard that there was a farm nearby the restaurant, so we decided to visit there. We were surprised because none of us had predicted that we could visit a farm in the center of Nara City. As getting closer, we started smelling the familiar scent of a farm. It took us less than five minutes to walk there. The sign said the farm was established in 1883, during the Meiji period.

I've visited several farms before, but this one was the smallest one I've ever seen. According to the farm infomation, there are 30 milk cows and a few goats.

That day was hot, so all the cows were inside of the cowshed. Unfortunately, we saw a sign saying visitors can't get inside. 15 people with intellectual disabilities live and work on the farm together.

There was a restaurant and cafe, so we stopped in for a drink.

The three of us ordered iced cafe lattes, while the one friend drunk a cup of hot one. It was the best care latte I'd ever had. We were still full, so we didn't try the ice cream, but it must be tasty as well.

I'd love to come back here with my grandson sometime soon. He'll love seeing cows and goats, and ice cream as well!
