I have four blueberry bushes in my garden. All of them are growing in pots because I've been following the advice of my neighborhood's blueberry farm owner. I bought three of the bushes there four years ago.

This year, all of them bloomed, and as usual, I got excited!

Last year, I hand-pollinated every flower, even though it took forever. This year, however, I have a puppy and I didn't have enough time to do that. I was a little bit worried, but it turned out I didn't need to be.

This year, three bushes produced lots of fruit, which made me extremely happy.

I also have a variety called Pink Lemonade, which produces pink blueberries. This one is the hardest to get to bare fruit. It grew a few this year as well.

Most blueberry bushes need another compatible variety nearby for cross-pollination, but this one called bilberry in the picture blow doesn't. It can produce fruit by itself, and its fruit contains much more anthocyanin.

I've been growing several fruit bushes or trees, and if you're thinking of adding some to your garden, I highly recommend blueberry bushes. They're easy to grow and produce plenty of fruit every year.

Now, I'm planning on making cuts from both my regular blueberry bushes and bilberry bush, so I can harvest more fruit.
