Waterlilies

When you hear the word "waterlilies", you might associate it with Monet. He loved these flowers and even created a Japanese garden of his property. His waterlily paintings are extremely famous.

In early July, my husband and I visited a park to see the waterlilies. We thought it might be too late, but fortunately they were still in bloom. Waterlilies aren't as glamorous as lotus flowers, but they have their own charms. They look pure and delicate, so I like both.

A bee was busy gathering nectar from one of the waterlilies, which made the scene even more peaceful.

I wanted to see lotus flowers as well, but I missed the chance this year. Even so, I'm grateful that I had the opportunity to see such the beautiful waterlilies and enjoyed the calm, relaxing atmosphere.
