We are living in two different world. One is Deaf World and other one is hearing world. A deaf person means a person who cannot listen and usually use sign language as mother tongue. Sign language is not speaking language but visual language that you use hands and your face.

According to data from National Institute of the Korean Language, In Korea, There are around 300,000-400,000 deaf people and One third of them having high hearing difficulties use sign language for communication. And, they learned it from friends not school teacher. Speaking about their Deaf culture, sign language is not unified one yet. Because that language is a language as well. It means that depends on your lived regions and that can be differently used, for example, deaf people from Busan couldn't get Seoul sign language.

It's time to wrap up today's article. Today, We've looked into Deaf culture and sign language. To be honest, at first, I was not interested in their lives. But, I had have a chance to watch movie about Deaf culture and I searched articles treating their lives and I am learning the language a little bit from Youtube videos.

Bye. :)
