This summer my best friend and I had the chance to take a long trip around Europe. We selected some of the European cities we were most keen to visit and we chose Milan, Paris, Stuttgart, Ludwigsburg, Salzburg and Villach as our destinations.

Milan was our first stage and so, after almost 4 hours of train, we arrived in the city.

After leaving our baggages in the hotel, we started visiting the center of Milan and we saw:

  • the Bookbubble bookshop in Corso Buenos Aires;
  • the duomo;
  • Vottorio Emanuele II Gallery;
  • Affari Square;
  • La Scala (from the outside);
  • Via Napoleone (I'v never felt so poor as in that moment :') );

We only spent a night in the city and, the following morning, we departed: our next destination was Paris.

Honestly I didn't particularly appreciate the city of Milan: it's made almost by shops and routes, with little of historical and/or artistic monuments, apart the center and other attractions further away. I'm glad that I had the chance to visit it but, in the future, I don't think I will choose Milan as my holiday destination.
