I have two blackberry bushes in my yard that I've been growing for three years. I bought one online, and the other one at a botanical garden. Last year, the one from the botanical garden bore a lot of fruit, but unfortunately it has grown few this year. On the other hand, the one I bought online has done much better this year, and it's covered with fruit! It made me so happy because the one produced only a few last year.
I hope that one day my blueberry bushes will be loaded with fruit like the ones I saw in the UK. I'd love to bake pies using them some day.
Watching the berries grow has been fascinating! They first started from tiny and green, gradually turned red, and finally became large, shiny, black berries. Nature never ceases to amaze me.
I think my two bushes are different varieties, so the fruit's size from the online is much larger than the other one. My blueberry bushes have also produced plenty of fruit this year, and I'll write about them next time.
