Two months ago, I had fun with some photos I had taken by asking an AI-generator to edit them look like some postcards from the Victorian period. It did an amazing job and I've shared them on my previous post here.
This time, I did the same thing with another photos I had taken but chose a different era. If somebody asked which period of Japanese history is my favorite, I would definitely answer the Taishō era (1912 to 1926). I love how traditional and modern elements blended so beautifully during that time.
The first picture I used was a Japanese iris photo.
I think Chat GPT did a wonderful job.
The second one is Hōryū-ji-temple in Nara.
The third one is a prison that was built in 1908.
During the Taishō Era, printing technique probably wasn't advanced enough to produce full-colored postcards, and sepia-colored postcards were common. These sepia colored images reminded me of some postcards I found at my grandparents' house when I was a child.
