I went to a bookstore to buy some cookbooks today. My daughter asked for us to see a cookbook and she wanted to get some ideas from a book. She started making cooking videos about a month ago. At first she started it for a resume just in case, but a lot of people are interested in her videos and now she wants to do it better. When we got to the bookstore we were surprised. There were tons of cookbooks and even they were displayed on the main section. We realized people are keen to cook at home these days because of COVID. There are many different kinds of cookbooks, Korean food, Japanese food, South Asian food, you name it. We bought 4 books.

I was a working mom, so my daughter had a lot of time with my mother. My mom was born to be an excellent cook. She cooked everything so fast and they were all delicious. My daughter loved to cook with her grandma. My daughter says that grandma inspired her to cook. She’s been making 13 cooking videos so far, and they are all amazing. She likes to make food from scratch. For example, she even made noodles by herself when she made Tonkotsu Ramen.

I think my mom must be very proud of my daughter, and she deserves it.
