I learnt dutch for 18 months, certainly had a similar experience, although it's slightly better than 哈萨克语 (no sure how to say it in English :-) ). But I think if you search for local TV channels or contents in YouTube, you might be able to find something really useful.
I see. Yeah I guess Dutch is slightly more popular than Kazakh. How did you learn Dutch? I had to create a lot my own materials for kazakh.. because there is basically only one textbook and a Russian app for learning Kazakh.. But I think it's very cool to study less popular languages! :D So I definitely want to keep learning it.
