Have you ever wanted to get a tattoo or a piercing?

Like most people of my generation, I like tattoos and piercings. But, I don't want to wear the latter. I like how tattoos express feelings, ideas and decorate our body. However, I understand that some people don't want to be tattooed or even don't like tattoos. Many years ago, I wanted to get my ear pierced, but when I started college this desire disappeared completely. However, my desire to get tattoos is still alive. In January last year, I got my first tattoo with the money I saved from my job teaching accounting in college; it's small, but it has a lot of meaning and symbolism for me. I hope that in the coming years I will continue to get tattoos because I really like them.

Are you good at art?

Since I was little, I have never been a good artist when it comes to drawing, decorating, painting and so on. But I have always liked to read and appreciated art. My favorite literary authors are Franz Kafka, H.P. Lovecraft, Edgar Allan Poe and Gabriel García Márquez. They created amazing stories, which have been both guides and entertainment for many years in my life. I also enjoy animation and cinematography. In these fields I admire Satoshi Kon for his incredible talent. He directed excellent films and created wonderful stories. I wish I had his talent, but I have other skills.

Would you rather live in an apartment or a house?

I live in an apartment in the city where I'm studying. This is good because at the moment I don't need much space, and I can clean it quickly. But I want to live in a house because I would like to have more space. I prefer to live in a house than in an apartment. In my hometown my family has a house with a garage and a garden. However, who knows where I will live for the next few years? I'm open to living in either, as long as it's comfortable and safe.

Do you believe in any religions?

Like most of the population of Venezuela, I grew up in a Catholic family. Consequently, I was baptized as a child. I also made my First Communion and Confirmation. In addition, I studied in a Catholic school. However, in my adolescence I gradually disassociated myself from any religion for various reasons. Although I do not profess any religion, I respect if someone does. I have no problem with that. But, I think all people should be respectful, helpful and kind to others in order to have a good society.

Thank you for helping me.
