English is essential for travelling, for self-study, and for entertainment. I'm a person with many curiosities. So to me, English is a key to open the door of different areas. Since is the language most spoken in the planet, there're innumerable resourses in English in the Internet that meet my needs. The invention of the Internet is definetly one of the greatests of the human history. Whenever we have access to it, we can connect to the whole world. But to get to know the local culture, and the people of a country that really draws my attention, I'd like take trip. I'm learning french not only that I want to travel the France, but also I love this language. It's so elegant and beautiful, which make it irresistible. I also speak spanish very well, which makes it easy for me to travle to Spain, and almost the whole Latinamerica. But it isn't feasible to learn everey language of the country to which you want to visit. That's why the english is quite important.

I can read in english but can't speak it fluently, for having many years without using it. I was fond of english when I was a child, which was the only subject I could have high score. I was pround of it. But since in the university I took the spanish as my career, my focus was all on it. And later I moved to Mexico, when definitly no one is speaking in english and since I konw spansih there weren't even needs.

Recently i realized that the spanish press can't meet my needs, and the best journalism is basically in enlish and french. The french press makes a lot of investigative reporting regarding the human rights, the environment. And most of the resumens of the NGOs are in english. That's why I'm picking it up.
